There’s a fire in the mountains near my house right now. At the moment, there’s no danger but it’s very dry and the winds could change anytime. I’m not really worried about it, though.

In other news, a new bar just opened up around the corner from my house. Walking distance. And I know the owners (they’re bowlers). And I’ll probably know a lot of the regulars (also bowlers). This can’t be good for my liver or wallet. It’ll never be a problem getting the Mets game on, though. Also, they have a Wii in the bar. That should be… interesting.
