Just for fun, I decided to try connecting my cable modem to the line that the cable guy said wouldn’t work. I was getting some, but not all, of the digital cable channels, so I figured maybe the internet service would come through as well. And it does, though I get about 1% packet loss on it. I don’t really notice that while I’m using, though, and file transfer speeds were good.

I’m still going to talk to the manager today and tell them the cable company said we need to run another line to my apartment, but at least for the moment, I can deal with this.

Just a question, does the current terror level muppets thing change when the alert level changes, or do we have to come and re-get it?
