Selig does something right!

The MLB All-Star Game has become a joke. Managers try to get everyone on the team in the game, instead of trying to win. Fans just vote for their favorite players, not the ones who actually deserve to be there. The outcome of the game means nothing, and last year ended in an embarassing tie, because both teams ran out of pitchers.

Finally, that is going to change. The All-Star Game will mean something. Players will want to win. It will determine which league gets home field advantage for the World Series. It wil no longer be a meaningless exhibition game…

Now if only we could get rid of the rule that says every team needs a representative on the team, it would be almost perfect.

Hey there! I just happened upon your site by way of WWDN. I wouldn’t normally comment, but, being an avid (when the weather allows) Geocacher myself, I decided to check out your geocaching page. After reading your Disney/WWDN post, I assumed that you must be from Ca, so when I saw Tom Sawyer, I thought “Wow, two Tom Sawyer caches.” Being from Louisville, you can imagine my surprise when I saw that it was indeed the very same Tom Sawyer that my son and I found on 5/27/02. Anyhow, just thought it was interesting how WWDN (who introduced me to geocaching) and Geocaching make the world a smaller place. 😛 Have a great day!

No problem at all. At this point, any comments are good comments. That’s awesome about us doing the same geocache.

And damn, I have to fix this comment preview page to look like the rest of the site.
