Everybody Lies

Everybody Lies   Everybody Lies

Today’s shirt comes from the TV show House. If you’re not watching it, you should be.

Purchase location: FoxShop/Seenon
Purchase date: February 4, 2008.

Also, I realized I never posted the second picture of my grilled cheese shirt from a few days ago.

A win!

The Little Lebowski Urban Achievers got off to a good start this softball season. After some confusion at the beginning of the game about who was playing where, and the lineup, things finally calmed down and we got settled in.

We scored the first run of the game, but then fell behind 4-1. We scratched out another run on some great baserunning by our pitcher (after he failed to run out a popup that wasn’t caught, and only ended up on first), but things weren’t looking good. Going into the last inning, we were still down 4-2, when we finally woke up. Helped by a few defensive errors, we had a 12-run inning, and won the game 14-4.

Sadly, we don’t yet have our team shirts, but they should be in by next week.

Urban Achievers

I’m now 1-0 in my managerial career. And hopefully, I’ll be much better prepared next week.

Shea Stadium Seats

Finally, after what seemed like a never ending wait, I have my seats from Shea Stadium! I got an email with a tracking number last week, so I knew they were coming. They’re as awesome as I expected. I’m not quite sure where they’ll go yet, and I have to get something to mount them on so I can sit on them, but it was so worth it.

There’s some more pictures of the unboxing in the flickr set: Shea Stadium Seats. Once I’ve got them all set up, I’m sure there will be more. Now, I kinda want one of the picnic area benches, but I don’t think I can justify buying that too. It’d be a perfect replacement for the bench I have out in front of my house, though…

Fracking Toaster

Today’s shirt is for the last half of the last season of Battlestar Galactica, which starts up again tonight. If you haven’t watched the series… well, you really should. Hopefully they can end it well. I have confidence that they will.

Purchase location: Glarkware
Purchase date: October 17, 2008, though I wanted it for a long time before that. It had been sold out forever, and they finally reprinted it.

Analog Retirement

The name of this shirt is a little off. Floppy disks were not analog.

Do you, by chance, have six fingers on your right hand?

It’s a little hard to read. You can click through and view it bigger. It says, “Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.”

Purchase location: ThinkGeek
Purchase date: May 30, 2008.

Grilled Cheese!

This is one of my more common meals at the bowling alley. I order it off the kid’s menu. After the 15% league bowler discount it costs $3.93, and it comes with fries and a small (refillable) soda. Good deal. Tonight, I will have to order one and get another picture of the me with the shirt and sandwich.

Purchase location: shirt.woot
Purchase date: May 26, 2008. I’ve had this almost 8 months and I think this is first time I’ve worn it. Weird.

Arrogant Linux Elitist

Today’s picture comes from the webcam on my laptop, which I’ve never used before. My alarm clock didn’t go off this morning, probably because I hit the wrong button to turn it on last night. I was in hurry to get out of the house, and this was the quickest way to take the picture.

Purchase location: Jinx
Purchase date: Jan 25, 2008.
