Sinusitis Sucks
Continuing in my [something] sucks series… Yeah. Got a cold after Vegas. No big deal. As it went away, bad headache showed up. Not like any headache I’ve had before. Different kind of pain, hurts when I stand up or sit down… a little research online and I knew what it was. Regular drugs (Advil, NyQuil, Tylenol) did nothing to help the pain. Just constant pressure for two days. I’m still not sure if it’s infected or just inflammation, but after a trip to the doctor, I’m on this for three days. And Sudafed. Crazy what I have to do to get that, now. First place I went (where I got the antibiotics) didn’t have it. Other than that, not really a hassle, just annoying that I have to swipe my driver’s license and sign. Took an extra ten seconds or so, besides having to go to the counter to get it. Not really a big deal, unless I for some reason needed a lot of it. Hopefully, I won’t need more than the one box. This is the first time I can remember having something like this. It sucks, a lot. Avoid it at all costs. Update: Sudafed seems to have cleared up my nose, but not the pain between my eyes. I have no evidence of this, but I’m gonna go along with Ryan, and somehow blame this whole thing on the Imperial Palace. At least it was cheap. Posted by alan to
