No homers for me last night, but I went 4-6 with 6 RBI and a run scored. Strange line to have from the leadoff spot. All 6 runs driven in were with 2 outs, including a bases loaded triple. I also made a point to not walk at all last night. I swung at the first pitch for a 2 run single after back to back walks. One of my outs was a hard liner that the left fielder made a nice play on, and the other was a popup to the pitcher because I was trying to go to the opposite field. I need to learn how to do that. We won 21-9, shorthanded. We only had three outfielders instead of four last night. We made the playoffs, too! Of course, all 6 teams in the league made the playoffs, so I guess that’s not too impressive. We at least didn’t finish in last place. 5th outta 6 ain’t bad. 🙂
